Meeting Preview: June 7th, 2011 Woodstock Town Council Meeting

June 5, 2011

Here is our first meeting preview for a Town Council meeting–in this case, Woodstock is up first. A shout out to Mayor Jeremy McCleary for providing us with an agenda packet so we can bring all of this governmental goodness in (what I feel) is an easier to browse format than the usual single packet that is uploaded to most government sites. He was also kind enough to provide us with a little more background on some of the items.

The meeting is pretty standard, with the adoption of the budget being the top item. Also of note is an ordinance change regarding refuse and recycling pick-up. Also up is the same ordinance change that is required by state traffic code changes. The biggest item may be one not officially on the agenda: the announcement of Mayor McCleary that he will be seeking the Republican nomination for County Commonwealth’s Attorney. As promised, we have your chance to chime in with polling as well. Enjoy!
